DIY madness

Well the big move has finally happened! Which is why I haven’t been able to post anything here for a good 2 weeks.

Soo much has happened in that time, it’s hard to actually comprehend what it all means. I mean moving out from the warm, comfortable wings of your family is a big step. Not to mention expensive!

The flat however is brilliant. The view is even better than I remember – I can’t tell you how relaxing it is to watch the various forms of river traffic ploughing their way up and down the murky waters of the Mersey. And of course the skyline is fantastic too. I’ll try and post some pics as soon as I can, but they won’t really do it justice.

Despite taking the best part of 2 weeks off work, I didn’t really have time to relax. I’ve been too busy discovering many hidden talents doing DIY type things around the flat:

I think that’s about it. I’ve got a list of things To Do which is probably even longer. It’s quite good fun though, I could do with just sitting down for a few days though.

There were a few teething problems with the flat. Namely the U-bend under the sink leaking, and the oven breaking after 28 minutes of cooking some curries, but overall things have been good. Though it will be even nicer when we get an actual bed moved into the place.

And my computer of course.

And my decks, music, clothes, and other crap (see my priorities there?).
